Blog 2: Why did I choose my career?

Today I will talk to you about how I made the decision to study sociology. Since I was a child, I always dreamed of being a scientist, and working doing research. As I grew up, I became interested in history and thought of studying a career linked to the social sciences. At the time of choosing a career, I was between two options: History and Sociology, well I finally decided sociology. Why? I thought that from Sociology I could develop researches to take account of social injustices and spread this knowledge. I'm currently in my fifth year of studies and I don't regret having chosen it, since I feel very happy doing social research and discovering very interesting things, which brings me closer to my dream as a child and to my ideal work.

Blog session 3: My favorite piece of technology

I don't think I've ever wondered what my favorite technological device was until last year, when something terrible happened! I was doing a job for the university and my laptop and this stopped working, my anguish was so great that made me think, what am I going to do without it ... I had all my work, summaries of texts from previous years and photos, many photos. I had to buy a new one and ask a technician to recover the files from my old notebook. From that moment on, I take good care of my notebook, since I realized that it makes my life easier, I always carry it with me and it allows me to have my documents in order. I occupy it daily and my student life would be much more difficult without it.
